As the main protagonist of this game, it is, of course, the player’s duty to defend all of humanity from these evils by going on a journey and completing complicated tasks. Playing Vengeful Rites in virtual reality (VR) is like literally stepping inside a picture storybook. You will be greeted by brightly colored landscapes and cartoonish game characters, not to mention the displays of magic that will leave you in awe. The game will take you on a fun adventure where you to get meet new people and complete exciting missions. Vengeful Rites will give you the opportunity to enjoy casting magic spells and engage in thrilling sword fights against goblins and other monsters. As this is a VR game, the fun of performing magic and fighting with swords require you to actually move and do the appropriate gestures. For instance, summoning a shield out of nowhere will ask you to move and twist your hand while summoning fireballs will make you move as if you are throwing water balloons at someone. Also, just like other RPGs, you will also get to choose which job you would want to excel at. To give you an idea, you can choose between being a mighty swordsman, mage, or archer!

One thing that can really be like about Vengeful Rites is its player engagement. The game will require you to really do big movements, unlike other VR games where the actions are repetitive and limited. As mentioned, actions like casting spells and swordfights will really require you to move your arms and even your legs. It is a good thing that the game is able to properly respond to a player’s actions and therefore can do the corresponding spell or action in the game. 

Have fun exploring

The game has a vast map that you can explore. In each new area that you will discover, you will be greeted either by friends or deadly foes. In some instance, the game may remind you of another adventure series called Zelda as it also has the common scenarios where certain places are guarded either by good elementals or evil monsters. With that said, there are areas that can be accessed only after being able to solve a riddle or a puzzle, which I would say is a very good break from walking and climbing nonstop. As for facing the monsters, just simply slay them with all your might! Remember, big movements ought to do the trick!
